Minimum Qualifications:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
- Completion of an accredited nursing education program (Diploma, Bachelor of Science in Nursing, or equivalent).
- Demonstrated experience in direct patient care within a clinical setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience or certification in wound care management.
- Pediatric nursing experience or specialized training.
- Experience with client education programs and advocacy initiatives.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and healthcare technology.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care including assessment, monitoring, and documentation of patient conditions.

- Perform wound care management and telemetry monitoring to ensure patient safety and recovery.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care strategies.
- Advocate for patients’ rights and needs within the healthcare system to ensure ethical and effective care.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Deliver nursing care in medical, surgical, and pediatric settings, adapting to the specific requirements of each.
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations, policies, and best practices to uphold quality standards.
